More Music Videos

We've had a leave of absence from the video additions to the blog, both because we weren't sure how to top the whistling video, and also because we lost the charger to the video camera.  Now it's back, so be amazed by the singing and dancing skills of Cooper J.

This is Cooper's new playroom and these are pretty typical dance moves to one of his favorite Raffi songs.  This is from a couple of months ago.

Sometimes Cooper spontaneously bursts into song and dance mode, like this video taken last night.

Enjoy!

Birthday! Party! Open da presents!

I am silly. Coopah silly, Coopah funny. I'll do just about anything for a laugh. I love to dance and I love to sing at the top of my lungs. I had a really busy month, enjoying Christmas, celebrating the New Year, and turning two.

If you wonder what I'm doing looking all weird in these pictures...this is right after a bath and I told Mommy I was cold. I did a little shiver that she and Mimi thought was funny. I'll do anything to get a laugh, so I started exaggerating my shivers. Anytime you ask if I'm cold, I do this.

Mommy did her on call every other night holiday coverage and Daddy did his over New Years. They didn't get to see each other much, but someone was always home to take care of me. Mommy was on call Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas. Gigi and Bubba Bolton came in town to spend Christmas with us. This is a picture of me and Daddy all dressed up for church on Christmas eve. We're a little blurry but you can still tell how cute we are.

The Christmas tree was all put up and had tons of presents piled underneath.

On Christmas Day Mommy came home and started handing out the presents. Even if they weren't for me, although most of them were, I took them and piled them up really high in my chair. I helped everyone open there presents and then yelled "More open da presents" when I was done.  Mommy is our usual photographer, and I guess she was really sleepy because there aren't too many Christmas pictures.  Oops.

Santa brought me this really cool car.

Mommy and Daddy got me a sit n spin... a perfect place to spin all my cars and baby. I got lots of clothes and books. I also got a cool basketball goal and a Lightning McQueen suitcase.

Daddy got a Wii and Wii Fit. Here he is practicing some of his ski jumps.

We spent the next few days playing with our new toys. Before Gigi and Bubba left, it was time to open my birthday presents. More presents, yay!

They gave me a Lightning McQueen cd player. It was so cool.

A few days later, it was time to roll in the New Year. We headed out in the snow (when is it now snowing these days?) and got party hats and noise makers. As 730pm rolled around (my bedtime) it was time to bust out the hats, noise makers, and wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Much of my 2009 was spent at home with either Mommy or Daddy for the holidays. They had the chance to spoil me rotten, and also do lots of fun things with me.

We got to play with Play-doh. These are the "fraggles" that I made.

I got to play outside in the snow.

Don't ask.

Mommy and Daddy let me eat the snow, but not the yellow snow.

I got to spend some good cuddle time with Mommy.

Mommy got a lot of gift cards for Christmas so when the stuff she ordered came in, I had to try it on. Don't tell Daddy.

Mommy and I even had time to go to the Children's Museum for a day.  They had a room full of paper - what a mess!

An area just for choo-choos!  Heaven!

An area where air shoots up and can send balls in the air or spin pinwheels.

And an area where I could fly an airplane up in the sky!

January 9th was my second birthday.  I'd spent the week prior telling everyone who would listen that it was going to be my birthday, that I was having a party, that I could open the presents, and that there would be balloons.  I mentioned it at least one hundred times a day.

When Mommy and Daddy got home from work, we opened more presents.  Mommy and Daddy got me a little wooden kitchen, some pots and pans, and some food.  I like to cook the food, but I also enjoy putting my cars in the oven.  Mimi came in from Kentucky to help me celebrate my birthday.  She got me a great farm and some little animals.  It was awesome.

My after dinner treat was a yummy cupcake!  It was soooo good that I ate two of them.  They sang happy birthday to me!

Everyone took part in the cupcake fun.  After I finished eating, I was such a mess that I demanded a bath!

On Saturday, I had a birthday party.  I'd been looking forward to this for a long time.  When I woke up from my nap, there were balloons everywhere and special food on the table.  I was so excited!!!

Many of our good friends were able to come to my party.  This is Johanna who takes care of me everyday.

Usually I go to my bestest buddy Kaya's house to play everyday, but on this day, she came to my house.  Despite what this picture looks like, I think she did have a good time.

My buddy Avram liked my choo choos.

My neighbor Rowan likes the choo choos too.
Rowan helped me find all the presents people brought me and helped me start opening then when noone was looking.

My birthday party had a little bit of a farm theme.  Mommy bought the cake the day before the party.  She asked them to write "Happy birthday Cooper" in any color except pink.  Wouldn't you know it, that they wrote it in pink.  Oh well, I didn't care.

We forgot to cut the cake at my party, oops.  We did it right after everyone left.  I wanted to blow out the candles, but we didn't have the camera ready, so this is what Daddy did.  Haha.

Attempt number two.

I've enjoyed having all the leftover balloons at the house.  I can bat them around with Daddy or bonk Mimi.

Daddy tied them to me so they followed me around everywhere.  I was running around the house yelling "Agadere!" (Translation: get outta here!)

I've really had a great month, especially since I've gotten to open presents just about everyday.  I'm still telling everyone that it's my birthday.  Every time a package comes in the mail, I want to "Open da presents" and then I want more after I've opened it.  I'm a little spoiled, but I'm two.
