Not much going on

Cheeeeese! I'm 29 months old now and growing bigger. This is how I smile for pictures. Cute, huh? Mommy and Daddy have had quite busy months at work, so we haven't had too much time to do fun stuff or take many pictures. I got to go see my first movie in the theater. I went on opening night to see the movie Up. We went to Olive Garden to eat, followed by the movies. I had popcorn and lemonade during the movie. I talked during most of the movie - What happening? What that doggie doing? Etc. - but no one seemed to mind, and I really enjoyed the movie. Subject to the advertising after Curious George, we visited the Rainforest Cafe for lunch one day which was fun. I have a little bit of a gorilla phobia at times, so the moving and yelling monkeys every minute or so was sometimes scary, but I loved the elephants and waterfalls.

My best buddy Kaya celebrated her half birthday with a party at the park. Winter birthdays in Boston can be tough, so celebrating half birthdays is a fun idea.

Before Daddy came home post call, Mommy and I snuck off to the Franklin Park zoo. I got to ride the carousel twice...once on the giraffe and once on a lion. I loved it - yelling up and down and faster!

Then Daddy came by to meet us after work. We're as tall as the giraffe. I'm not sure where that giraffe's head is though.

I used to be afraid of gorillas, especially the giant gorilla statue at the zoo. Now, I see pretend monsters, gorillas, and dinosaurs all over the place, even in the house. Mommy always asks if they're nice or mean and most of the time they are nice. This day, I wasn't afraid at all!

Gorillas are nice!

As it gets more and more into June, we've been enjoying our outside weather. We finally bought an outdoor table and chairs so we can eat outside. Some of our June days have been quite chilling, with highs in the 50's. Boston is silly.

I like to drive my big car in the driveway really fast (or "past" as I say since I can't say the f sound yet.)

This is why you don't let kids play with plastic bags. Oops.

We're looking forward to July when we have lots of Kentucky visitors, 4th of July, and trips to the beach. Mommy has graduated from residency and starts her real job in mid-July or August. Hopefully Mommy and Daddy can post some video of me singing my songs pretty soon. I'm a great singer! Stay tuned.
