Summer Fun

Three handsome Bolton boys!
Three busy boys - two of whom push buttons on the computer any time it's opened - plus parents working full time makes it nearly impossible to keep up with the monthly blogging.  Time for a major catch up!

Cooper's soccer season was winding down.  There is a summer hiatus before starting up again with the same team this fall.  He played with Parkway Soccer in West Roxbury which was new to him and his team was a mixture of 5 and 6 year olds.  He and his blue cleats still continued his domination of the game, scoring multiple goals in most all games.

The five of us dressed up in our red, white, and blue gear to enjoy the Fourth of July.  We had a big cook out in the backyard.
We watched the Boston Pops and fireworks on tv this year.  The night before on the 3rd Cooper and I snuck to Needham to watch a big fireworks display.  We joined our friends Kaya, Anson, and Joss.

We took the boys down to Boston Common to have a splash in the Frog Pond.  Even Will stuck his little toes in the water.

Reid took to it like a fish in water.

Jeff got a tent and a fire pit for his birthday this year, courtesy of Gigi and Bubba.  The boys roasted marshmallows and actually spent a few nights sleeping in the tent in the backyard.  I never in a million years thought they would make it all night long but they did.

We've spent many a day at the playground.  Cooper loves to swing high.
Reid loves to swing high too.  He yells "Push me" and "Big one!"

Cooper and Reid are like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.  What one has to do, the other has to follow.  Cooper asked Reid, "Why are you a copy cat?"  Reid yelled, "I a copy cat!"
Even Will has to get in on the swinging action.
I thought this picture was funny because you can see the size difference between the two - Reid my bruiser and Will my peanut.

We took a trip to Onset Beach in Buzzards Bay.  There's no waves and it's very low key, but it's all we thought we could manage with three little ones.  Everyone had a great time in the sand and water.
