Happy 2010! I celebrated my new year in style - well at least the style that I've gotten used to the past couple of years: an early bath, cool jammies, festive hats, noise makers (I called it my tuba), and yelling Happy New Year at 8pm, then off to bed. It works.

January marks my birthday month. I had a lot of practice opening gifts from Christmas the month before, so I was an old pro.

I even got some money for my piggy bank. When I opened the money I yelled, "Look! This is money for Jesus's money basket." Aren't I a good Catholic boy?

We skipped the big party at home this year and instead took my bestest buddy Kaya and her mommy and daddy to my favorite gorilla restaraunt, The Rainforest Cafe. Every few minutes the animated gorillas make noise, as do the elephants. It was quite a show!

Whoa these are big elephants!

Cheese with Mommy who had worked a night shift the night before.

Kaya and her family.

The best part was the desserts. Mommy, Daddy, and Kaya's parents ordered these desserts called the Volcano. The waitresses came out yelling "Volcano!" when they brought them out, then everyone sang Happy Birthday. Wow!

Here's the volcano!

Kaya and I, not to miss out on our dessert, each got a cup of dirt: Oreo crumbs on chocolate pudding, complete with gummy worms. Yum!

After lunch, Mommy and I took a nap, while Daddy made my cake. I wanted a cow on my cake (my friend Kaya had a cow on her cake, though I must admit her cow was a homemade chocolate cow and not a plastic one). This is Daddy's creation while everyone was asleep. Ummm, well I was happy with it and it tasted good.

Blowing out the candles.

I told you last month that Santa Claus brought me some tablets that you put in the water to dye your bathtub colors, so here I am posing for some pictures with colorful water while Mommy and Daddy put their new camera to use. Aren't I cute?

I can't believe I'm three! I'm such a big boy! I have my 3 year old doctor visit in February so I'll make sure to post how big I really am.
